Applied Materials Europe
Like the European continent itself, Applied Materials Europe is not a single entity. It is a diverse group of independent countries with localized Applied operations, joined geographically and within the Applied culture, but aligned to leverage the unique business opportunities inside their own borders.
In seven countries, from 17 sites, we are strategic partners with customers across Europe, delivering the technology and expertise that makes possible the production of next-generation microchips and power devices, stunning flexible displays, efficient solar panels, advanced coating systems and more. Together, we enable our customers to transform possibilities into realities.
Applied’s operations in Europe involve a broad spectrum of capabilities—research, development and engineering, manufacturing, and sales and support services. We also leverage the company’s global infrastructure—including its vast supply chain and broad, deep technical knowledge base—to serve customers effectively and efficiently.
Additionally, Applied Materials supports and actively participates in European and member states research and innovation initiatives such as the Horizon 2020 European research and innovation program, the Electronics Components and Systems for European Leadership (ECSEL) Joint Undertaking and the EUREKA Cluster in the areas of micro- and nanoelectronics enabled systems and applications (PENTA).
Working collaboratively with customers and major European research organizations and universities, our employees are helping make possible innovations that will change the world.
